travel insurance for Winter Sports

Hi

wonder if anyone could help. My daughter is off on a French Exchange next week and she may go skiing with the family she is staying with for a weekend.

Obviously we have to take out extra insurance. Has anyone used someone reasonably cheap but covers broken leg etc.

Can you buy her a week policy from the post office ? The EHIC should cover any emergency treatment but you need insurance if they invoice costs of mountain rescue or transporting home.
