Columbia Beach Resort, Pissouri, Cyprus.

Hi there,

We are going to the above resort in a fortnight (competition win!). Has anyone been before and offer any advice?

I also understand that there is a water park nearby. Is it worth going with the two ds aged 7 and 4.

I have been here and it is gorgeous. The hotel is great and Pissouri is just fab. Really nice and quiet. I hate Paphos and Limmasol.

You will probably need a car though. There is a beach close by called Melanda Beach.. nice quiet beach and a restaurant there where I had some nice food. There is also a beach called Paramali which is more difficult to find (down a dirt track) but is where all the kite surfers go. Great to watch and the beach is sandy.. perhaps not good for the children to go swimming though.

Make sure you go into Pissouri village (at the top of the mountain). Lots of lovely restaurants there.
