What was your best holiday ever with small kids?

I have an ulterior motive!!! we have a 2 and a 5 year old and want a good beach holiday..

Eurocamp is great for families - they have some sites specially recommended for young children.

I can suggest Jard sur Mer in the Vendee as the Atlantic beaches are fabulous and this site has lots of shade which is ideal for little ones.

Le sarrail is v expensive but everything is fantastic there perfect for young children. The budget does put it into luxury boutique style place

RMCW we did our first cruise last year on voyager of the seas. Ds was 3.5 at the time and had a riot, and still talks about the big big boat. Fab dining, crazy golf, pools, amusements, kids club, even just wandering around the boat with an ice cream.

We went ashore quite a few times, although www did our research and did our own thing as often as possible as the royal carribean excursions are extortiante and are geared more towards adult sight seeing.

If I can be of any more help... ESP with trips then feel free to PM me. Oh and the only other thing is take at least 2 sizes of clothiers... The food is amazing, and available 24 hours a day
