What to buy when in the USA?

DH is going to the USA shortly with work... Is there anything worth buying for DS (almost 10 months) over there that we can't get here or is much more expensive here than there?

Thank you!

I find childrens's clothes are good value - partly depending on the exchange rate, but they do seem to be cheaper (and clothes generally). The main stores and also Gymboree is a good quality brand.

Any US brand toys or books will be cheaper. I usually get some children's books (including Dr Seuss - you can get them here but they have more).

Thank you... Do they size exactly the same way in ages?

Snowsuits and really good snowboots. Maybe not such an issue any more though - maybe get some in roughly whatever size your baby will be next winter. But it may be hard to find any now that it's January.

Target v. good for children's clothes, also nice lines of babybath stuff like California Baby, and a wide range of sun screen spf's.

Old Navy has cute things.

There's a 2T, 2T, 4T, 5T range of sizes corresponding to ages. There's also sizing corresponding to months: 6-9 mos, 9-12 mos, 12 mos, 12-18 mos, 18 mos, 18-24 mos, 24 mos, 24-36 mos and ime these fit smaller children when you get to the 12 month sizes, and toddlers still in nappies when you get to the bigger sizes. For instance, a 3T pants won't easily accommodate a nappy but a 36 month one probably would.
