Where to go for a family holiday over Christmas

Hi

2 parents and 7, 9 and 11 year old need suggestions of where to spend Christmas in 2011. All ill this year and fed up so want a change. Can go for up to 3 weeks or for 3 days - flexible but on a budget!

Any suggestions? Can't afford skiing for 5!

I'd consider Thailand. Fly to Phuket or Krabi and you've got everything you want. If you want sand and sea. Go to Chiang Mai and you've got mountains or Bangkok and you can easily (and cheaply) access all three.
