Hotlel west of paris with car park

Hello, I have posted last week about eurostar but have now abandoned that as we are going to tag a 4 night break in the Loire onto our long weekend in Paris, so will be taking car to Calais

I had found a central apartment but I don't want the hassle of trying to park - or drive in the centre of paris!!

Anybody know a decent Novotel/Mercure or similar on the West side of Paris - so that we are facing in the right direct for the Loire - but also close enough so that we can get the metro/train in easily. My iedeal would be get out of hotel and walk round corner to train station and be walking up the steps of the station by the Arc de Triomphe within 20 minutes or so!!

I have looked at Accor website but because I don't know the area and the map isnt so clear to me I am struggling to make a decision. Thought that isnt the reason why I am up and sending messages at 2:20am - I volunteered to look after the dog of a friend - and this lovely dog has been howling on and off for the last 2 hours - so I am now sat in the kitchen with her at my feet - and she is quiet - but I may have to stay here all night - or she may wake everybody up

Any Parisian experts - please help. Katie and lola (the howling dog)

The best place to ask this question, in my opinion would be on the Trip Advisor Paris forum. The Destination Experts there should be able to help you.
There's not much they don't know about Paris.
