We applied for these (E111 replacements) online almost 3 weeks ago but haven't received them yet. Does anyone know how long they take to process (think website suggested 10 days)as we travel 2 weeks on Saturday.

I got the E111 in mid-July and applied for the EHIC at that time. I got them this week.

bum, think I'll have to phone them now as we don't have an E111 either. Just checked the website which promises that online applications are the quickest way and you get them in 7 days -yeah right.

Dd applied for one and it came in four or five days.

Phoned them and apparently there is a 5 day additional delay atm but should still have had them by now. Apparently we are covered even if we don't get them in time as we are recorded on their system, so they could confirm coverage if needs be.

Good news LIZS. It might still come through anyway.

You can still get a paper one at the post office I think. We did a few months ago (it took weeks to get out propper ones in the post)

Mine took 4 days

Ours arrived today, ordered about 3 weeks ago, but we were told ours were already being processed as we had new E111's last year and so on automatic order.
