Quick London tube q....

Which tube is easier to get out of with a buggy - Green Park or Piccadilly? I can come out of either to get where I'm going, but if one has miles less steps/escalators than the other I thought it might be useful to know!

probably green park i would imagine but i could be wrong, it depends what line you are coming from?

The tfl website (www.tfl.gov.uk) has a map which shows all the stations with disabled access - ie stations with lifts to all levels or step-free access.

Hope that helps Smile

Both Green Park and Piccadilly Circus have steps leading from the ticket hall to ground level.

I wouldn't worry, though, people tend to be really helpful on the tube, so I'm sure someone will help you up and down the stairs with the buggy!

I would go for Green Park as it will be less rammed (fewer tourists).

Sorry should have said, coming on Jubilee line from Waterloo....

Good point about the tourists though, thanks all :)

I think there are fewer exits from Green Park...one either side of the road

Picadilly exits are all over the shop!

If you're coming in on the Jubilee line then Green Park is definitely the station for you. No point changing lines to the Piccadilly, especially since the interchange from the Jubilee to the Piccadilly at Green Park takes ages.

Hope you have a nice trip!

Thanks all - hope DS enjoys the tube trip as I don't think I'm going to, haha!

Appreciate the advice :)
