Best place for a relaxing, fun family summer hol?

Hello all.

I am thinking about a holiday for this year. There are 4 of us - me, dh and two dc (7 and 8), one of whom is v. outdoorsy and loves swimming / water sports, and the other loves kids' clubs.

In the past we've had some lovely hols with Eurocamp / Keycamp but this year are thinking about going somewhere all-inclusive. Some of the places I've looked at really don't seem very nice (big, soulless etc).

So has anyone got any recommendations for good all-inclusives with kids' clubs and lots of sporty activities? We don't want to go anywhere too hot, either, so wouldn't want to go to Greece / Turkey for example.

Thanks!

Does it have to abroad - could it be Bedruthan Steps in Cornwall or whatever its called? kids clubs and surfing and babysittign and great food - a friend of mine who has been all over with her kids reckoned it was the most relaxing holiday she had had with them.

Thank you! No, not necessarily abroad - I will have a look at Bedruthan Steps.

Sands resort in Cornwall is the sister hotel to Bedruthen steps but a little more affordable! We have been 4 times and met several who have been to Bedruthen but now prefer sands. Its great for parents and children...
Club med is a great choice if you want to go abroad, we've been to Tunisia and Turkey...

How about a Mark Warner holiday. They are really good for watersports and kids clubs.
