Has anyone been there? I'm looking for a Surrey or South east London soft play area which caterers well for kids of 8+. New Year's resolution to do more physical stuff with and for the kids. most soft plays seem to be for younger kids and they are too small for Go Ape etc. This sounds ideal but can't see any pics on websites.

Has anyone been who'd recommend it (or not?) Thanks.

Meant to say - if anyone knows of other good places for kids to run around and let off steam in Surrey, that don't cost the earth, I'd love to hear from them. Again 8+. We've done Bockett's and Horton Park etc to death.

ideally I'd love to find an assault course/challenging soft play.

Unless it has changed significantly in past 5 years or so I'd say a 8yr old would be pretty bored tbh. Last time we went it was very tired and more appropriate for toddlers/infant school age. Not worth a special trip imho.

Some NT places have outdoor equipment, Polesden Lacey for example. there's a park near Farnham that ahgs a Go Ape but I think other attractions suitable for younger too - Alice Holt - or [[http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/infd-6ljhuj Bedgebury in Kent. Alternatively ds got into indoor climbing at that age and there are several centres around.

Sorry Bedgebury

Thanks Lizs. Not worth the trip then, I guess. Maybe we should go indoor climbing. Just trying not to get caught up in yet another expensive club. BUt I used to love climbing, so could be worth a try.

Alice Holt is lovely but they have to be 10 to use Go Ape.

Had a lovely afternoon at Spectrum though, on the waterslides. They love it there. hadn't been for a while and they are now old enough not to be scared. It was great.

Bedgebury looks great. Thanks for that.

My eight-year-old loves Manic Monsters in Edenbridge - get there early though, it gets horribly busy around lunch-time.
