This sounds really sad but I have just booked a holiday I am really content with

Which is daft

But I hate booking holidays, it always goes wrong, DH grumps & I end up hating it

So we are going to a caravan at Hunstanton in April, my brother & his family might join us for a few days a might my mum & dad

& it only cost £22.33 (& tonnes of Tesco vouchers)

well if my family was joining our holiday it would certainly give my DH the grumps.

pagwatch · 05/01/2011 21:22

It is not dull. Having a holiday which you are looking forward to is lovely.
And barganiscious

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 05/01/2011 21:22

£22 for a holiday? Flippin eck.

Put it this way, if it rains, the caravan is a dump and you all end up arguing you can still bask in the smug glow of a flippin cheap holiday! nice one!

KatyMac · 05/01/2011 21:23

No, DH grumps about booking the holiday, not the holiday

He is really pleased everyone is joining us; it will make the holiday special; we haven't seen my brother since July as he lives in Sweden

My Brother is chuffed too

& the price

DH can't believe we have booked a holiday so easily; with no arguing or hassle or anything

Great news - and hooray for the Tesco vouchers!

KatyMac · 05/01/2011 21:59

I think so too (esp as I get the vouchers for my work expenses)

Hunstanton is lovely! Sounds fun.

Nefret · 06/01/2011 11:00

My husband always moans about booking holidays too, probably because he has to pay for it! I'm sure he wouldn't moan as much if it only cost £22 though.

It is great when you have something booked and can look forward to it, I always get excited too Wink

Really pleased about this today; I wasn't sure if it would be a short-term glow or longer lasting......so glad it's still here today

BBE, can I ask which travelodge you have booked for Alton Towers. That sounds like a solution I could use.

Pantofino · 06/01/2011 23:24

Where IS Hunstanton? I have no idea....
