Venice 2011-renovation work

Are the renovations still going on with the advertising bill boards up covering it up?
Anyone been lately that knows?

I wish you well to find a time when there isn't something covered up. We've been every year for the last 6 or so and it's always been something different being cleaned or renovated. Just go and enjoy the rest of it!
