All this snow has inspired me to think about going away somewhere snowy next year to enjoy outdoor snowy type activities. not big on skiing but would like to do cross-country, snowshoeing and ice skating on frozen lakes/rivers. Anyone have any recommendations? Kids are primary school age and have not been skiing before.
