Teletext holidays??

We are looking for a cheap last minute holiday to the canaries. I had a look at Teletext holidays online and was amazed at how "cheap" these holidays appear to be. I have not rung up about any of the advertised deals as yet but are these holidays really as cheap as they advertise or are there lots of added on extras which bump up the price considerably? Also are the companies they use reputable as I have not heard of any of them! Have only travelled with Thomas Cook and First Choice in the past and we don't really want to pay their high prices if there are cheaper alternatives available!!

I've booked through Teletext Hoidays a few times in the past...not for several years now though.

Never had any problems when we did. Sometimes there are 'optional' add-ons like inflight meals, transfers etc but we generally paid the advertised price give or take a few quid.

I would add that it was just OH and I travelling and we're not terribly fussy when it comes to accommodation; clean and functional is good enough for us. I might be a bit more discerning if I was travelling with kids in tow. That said, we were never disappointed with the holidays booked through Teletext and I'd do it again without hesitation.
