MIL would like to take DH, DSs (who will then be 4 and 7) away for a proper wintery Christmas in 2012. None of us has skiied before, though MIL would like to try, and I quite fancy a bit of toboganning and the odd sleigh ride. I think we're probably looking for a large village or small town with restaurants somewhere that is quite Christmassy though not necesarily a ski resort.
I have no idea where to begin though we did wonder about the Italian Alps as we alllove Italy. Any ideas?
