Best swimming pool near Chelmsford, Essex

We're staying with family and ds1 would like to visit an exciting swimming pool rather than a normal rectangle one. Any recommendations? Thanks

There's a nice one in Maldon, you'll have to google it but it has the relevant excitement factor. Further afield is Leisure World in colchester which is fun for children, flumes, rapids etc.

I use the Maldon one + it's really good-I saw in the paper last week they have free swimming for under 8's in the new year which makes it even cheaper (+ I can try +work off all the chocolate from xmas at the same time! :) )
