Haven't been back to Manhattan since I spent a few months there in 2004, am going for a 5 day break in Jan.

Are there any new must see things to do, great restaurants, shopping districts etc etc?

Bed bug infestations in NYC hotels right now. Don't bring them home!

We went in May, having not been since Nov 2004. Meatpacking is still very trendy. Pastis is still going strong (but a bit touristy). Drinks at The Standard was v pricey but cool.
Walking the High Line is the fab new thing to do and is the one thing I would recommend.
And MOMA is worth a look as the new building hadn't opened in 2004.

DD is stopping with her Nana so DH & I are baby free for the first time, so very much grown up things only!

Will Google the High Line.

Just praying the snow starts clearing in New York, have no problem with the cold but would actually like to be able to get into the City.

Bed bugs...urghh!
