SUMMER HOLIDAYS - Learn to swim

It seems a bit crazy to be thinking about our summer holidays but last summer we left it until the very last minute and we ended up going somewhere expensive that we didn't enjoy. Next summer we'd like to take our DC (7 and 4 by then) somewhere with a kids club where they can learn to swim. We'd rather not go to a very hot country (any more than 28 Celsius is too hot for us. Staying in the UK is not out of the question at all, it's just a matter of knowing where to go. I would be sooo grateful or any recommendations. Thanks very much.

We stayed at the Lac des Reves site in the Languedoc with Siblu. You could pay for swimming lessons on site, though they didn't form part of the Kids Club (which was fab by the way). The lessons took place before the main pool opened in the morning.

I have never seen swimming lessons offered by a Kids Club. I guess the ratio of staff to children is normally too low for such an activity.

The first choice holiday villages do swimming lessons (my 3 yr old is having some next week in Egypt) and from memory it was 5 lessons for £20.

have a look on the first choice website - they have holiday villages all over Europe in Spain, greece etc.
