So driving across Europe back home for Christmas at the end of the week. Day 1 8 hrs to Calais (overnight) Day 2 Eurotunnel 8:30am ish then 4 hrs to PILs.

What do you recommend for survival? So far got DVD player for back of car (DD will watch films several in a row if we let her (shame....) Books and stickers, snacks, and planning to stop every couple of hours for a good run around and sort of time it round her nap at bit, esp on first day.

Any words of wisdom?

Thanks :)

Sounds like you're driving from Switzerland or similar.
Drive when she sleeps.
French toilets are horrible so change her in the car.
Let her watch DVD as much as she wants and take loads of toys. Buy lots of new cheap ones as its the novelty factor that keeps them interested.

Good luck, I remember it well

a wide variety of snacks

sachets of ibuprofen and paracetamol, teething gel, in case of teething or mouth ulcers
