I loved in when I went to Valencia, it was years ago mind, had just split up with a man (boo hiss) and swanned off with my gay pal for lots of sun and booze. Fab.

I do remember being amazed by the fact that they had big signs/screens showing what temperature it was! In the street! I spent many a happy day saying 'look it's 35 degrees today' or whatever.

I knew I could count on mn to sort me out.

There's a lovely beach town about an hours drive (40 km) called Benicassim which is a very popular resort with spaniards as opposed to brits. Lovely beach and great food too.
