As my husband is very poorly(cancer) my best friend has bought us tickets to Chelsea next May, it will give him something to look forward too. If I can get the kids organized it would be nice to stay over, does anybody know anywhere nice but not too expensive please?

Hi triplets

Just had a quick look. I used to live in Battersea just across the Thames.

There is this.. www.chelseabedbreakfast.com/index.cfm

but it has a minimum stay of 2 nights. Are you going to stay for 1 or 2 nights? Do you like larger hotels or small and friendly?

When you say not too expensive, what sort of budget do you have in mind?

I got a deal at the Kensington hotel for around £150 which was very reasonable for the standard of the hotel.

Why don't you ask on the Trip Advisor London forum? They may be able to help you.
