We are travelling back to Oz with 2 children (1yr + 4yr) and want a month of adventure on the way. Currently thinking of Central America or the Caribbean however wondering how this would work with children, immunisations etc etc Has anyone got experience traveling with children in this area or any other recommended stop offs on the way back to Oz from the UK? Thanks

Heading west to get to Australia is expensive and very long.

I'd be more inclined to perhaps look at touring Asia. So much to see and do from Thailand to Vietnam.

Where do you live in Australia and how much of that have you seen?

Thanks. We don't really want to travel around Australia as by then we will just want to return to family and friends. The asia route is also an option. Have you been anywhere there with children?

The Caribbean is very expensive and not one to "travel round". Nice if you want a beach holiday though. I would recommend Jamaica. I live in St Lucia and it's not as nice as Jamaica.
Belize and Costa Rica are possibilities although I have only been to Belize pre-children (and loved it).
Peru is fantastic but again not sure it would work so well with dc's the age yours are.
Personally I would go for Thailand. It's very child-friendly.
