anyone know what the weather is like in las vegas in january?

ds is going with his boss on a working hol and i have no idea what to pack!

During the winter, temperatures have a tendency to drop into the thirties at night but manage to hover around the upper fifties to low sixties during the day.

so it will be warm then....so he will need the same type of clothes as summer here?

It can be sunny but we experienced light snow there once and the pool was too cold to use for more than 10 mins.

Take some layers.

I went at the end of Jan in 07. Was pleasant but not shorts and tshirt weather. I agree with taking layers. I'd start the day in Jeans and a (nice) hoody or cardigan and couple of layered tops underneath and sometimes stay that way or end up in jeans and long sleeve top.
