Is there anywhere in Oxford to park for 3 days?

Hope somebody can help! Dh is going to Oxford next week and can't find public transport to get him there for the right time so will have to take a hire car from work. He is staying in the centre (Halls I think) and the course is nearby. Is there anywhere he could park the car and leave it from Monday to Wednesday? He wouldn't need it while he was ther. I couldn't find anything on the Internet and the only other option is for me to drive him, which I'm desperately trying to avoid...

Anyone help me out?

I seem to remember there's a car park at the train station but I don't live there so I'm no help really! Perhaps the details would be on the web somewhere?

The course organisers will be able to advise - perhaps the place he is staying will have parking for course attendees. There is a fair amount of parking in the centre but I don't know the maximum stay.

thinking about it, there are also heinous park and ride car parks (which I think are free) just on the outskirts of Oxford (literally 5-10 mins on the bus) but I'm not sure how safe they are

hopefully some oxford bod will come on soon

He's coming from GLoucester but would need to change at Birmingham, wait for 45 mins then continue so would be too long really. There isn't really somebody organising it- he's taking part in a thing to encourage under graduates to follow the same career as him. Loads of people from different companies with different specialisms (is that a word?) within his field will be there to basically give career advice. So there isn't really a central organiser he can ask.

I'll try on the net again. Thanks for advice so far
