MP - one of the friends I am going with phoned up and checked whether you were allowed to drink there before booking! The thought of a girly weekend with no wine was too horrific for us to contemplate

My DH is taking the children to York for the weekend and they are so excited I must admit to being a bit miffed that I'm not going with them!

lol soapbox re the wine. Henlow "encouraged" people to detox, but there were always one or two empty bottles of vino outside bedroom doors in the morning (half bottles outside mine, naturally!).
