Hi,
Feeling fed up, want to have something to look forward to for half-term, even for a couple of nights, in uk, we live in Kent so no more than 4/5 hours away, any ideas anyone please? Must be cheap!

Our caravan's free - it might be too close though - Camber Sands. Lots of activities and lovely swimming pools. If you want further details CAT me. We would normally be staying in it but my dds are going to my Mums for the half-term. Only £50 a night.

Thanks for the offer, its just a little too close, but maybe another time, in the summer? How many does it sleep? Never been to Camber Sands!

It sleeps 6 comfortably - a twin room, a bunk room and a double room. There is a sofa bed in the lounge for another 2. Photo's are here . We had a lovely week down there at the beginning of September - spent most of the time on the beach and have got a lovely tan. Everyone keeps on asking where I've been and I just say "Camber". We love it down there so much that's why we brought a van.

Hi,
Oh lucky you, it looks fab, loads of room! Do you live far away then, is it permanent on a site?

Thanks - it is lovely - it's our solice away from the smoke - we live in West London. It's permanently sited; we are there most weekends and holidays. My 2 dds love it there as well.

travelodge have special £26 a night rooms but they only sleep 4 I think. Have you looked on laterooms.com? Here's quite a nice hotel in Torquay that sleeps 5 but I'm not sure how much you want to spend.

Hi,
Devon is abit too far for half-term, thanks anyway. I am still looking, Harry wants to go to London but its working ot around £300 for 2 days with train fare. I fancy a cottage with a log fire, but I expect the kids would be bored. 21stcenturygirl, what is there to do at the site and in that area? Would ther be enough to keep 3x7yr olds happy?

Me again, still looking for a bargain even for a couple of nights, would love a cottage in the New Forest but all seem to be fully booked unless you know differently!

Hi triplets - sorry for the delay - missed your question. There is lots to do for 7 year olds - perfect age in fact. They have can be part of Sparkey's crew which has loads of activities during the day - wizard lessons, party games, karaoke. Also, the indoor swimming pools are lovely and not too deep. In fact we find we don't have enough time to undertake the activities. Also, if you're after a rest on some of the days, you can just read a book and enjoy the peace and quiet while the triplets are outside playing. It's the best of both worlds. If you're interested, give me a call on the number on my website - I can do a shorter period if you want.

I can guarantee it will be the rest that you are after and the enjoyment that the kids are after.

Oh meant to say - it's very close to Rye and about not too far from Hastings which has lots of things to do and see. There is also the Steam Railway at Dymchurch and a Children's farm just outside Rye.
