Can you recommend a nice restaurant in city centr dublin..not too overly expensive but kind of middle of road.. just for me and DH. Having a few days away with no kids before baby no 3 arrives. Thank you!

and can i add if anyone is around for a coffee/or some ole liffey water next Thursday, I shall be around for a few hours (after having reun out of money in Dunnes of course!).

will have a think winnie. don't live there any more, but go back quite a lot. Some of the places i liked are gone now but will have a check on here and see if any are still good

oh just remebered about the unicorn which is still good after being around for years. italian mainly and in merrion row. no website but here is a description on another good Dublin referemce webpage

I like La Stampa - fantastic decor. Not cheap though.
