Which is better value? BA miles or Airmiles?

Have got miles with both schemes but never really looked into it. I've now got some Tesco clubcard points and was wondering which scheme to go with. Likely to fly with B.A quite a lot as live near Heathrow. thanks!

Airmiles are better value for flying shorthaul economy as you dont pay taxes. BA miles are best for Business or First class longhaul, especially if combined with a BA miles amex. Have travelled to the US business for the last few years using tesco points and miles from my amex alone
