We have been given the opportunity to have a free family hoiliday in SA. However we have a dd age 5 and Ds age 6 and a MIL who will only stay in 5 star accomodation.
Anyone out there who can reccomend anywhere?

We tend to head for the Eastern Cape as it is malaria free. We stay at a place called Riverbend Lodge in the Addo Elephant Park. An amazing place and perfect with kids. At 5 and 6 they are the perfect age for it.

We drive from Cape Town stopping in Knysna/Plettenberg Bay for some of the trip.

Check the safaris will take children that young - think minimum age was 12 when we were there last year -at pilanesberg up near sun city at fab resort that would meet your mil conditions. There was stuff you can do with kids (sun city, local zoo place for lions) - just not actual game trips

Aardvark Safaris are good for family holidays.

We went with bushbabytravel. They were fantastic. Experts at travelling with small children, as they are parents of little ones.

We went malaria free to Madikwe and stayed at Jaci's. AMAZING!!!!
