Hi,we have been given cinema tickets for the new harry potter, its a cert 12,ds is 7,will he be allowed in? anyone know if its quite scary?

Its 12a so he can go in with an adult. Its meant to be the scariest one yet and I wouldn't let my 9yo watch the last one so she won't be watching this one.

I took the dss yesterday ( aged 10 and nearly 7). Neither of them were traumatised but the eldest put his hands over his eyes a few times. There were a few jumpy bits but nothing too scary. I wouldn't recommend it if you have particularly sensitive children though.

My rule of thumb for scary films that are 12a is if they watch a scary Dr Who (like the Blink episode) then they're probably be ok.
