I found (after much hassle & discussion) a perfect holiday

Madeira, B&B sate I want to leave for £1800

Wow - so happy it's very cheap didn't think I could afford Madeira

When I got the email through to confirm & I have booked TWO weeks

Oh no disaster I can only have one week - how could I know a holiday that cheap was for 2 weeks

So I cancelled (they let me) but I had to rebook straight away so now I am going somewhere different but not exactly sure where & it has cost me loads more

I am really sorry, I don't understand your thread at all!

You spent £1800 on what you thought was 1 week's holiday but it was actually for 2 so cancelled it?

Why didn't you just re-book a week in Madeira?

KatyMac · 19/11/2010 14:14

Because the week was £4000

Could't you have just stayed for a week? Or was it a package with flights?

KatyMac · 19/11/2010 14:19

Package

Goggle eyed at a cheap holiday being 1800 quid!!!

Week in norfolk, anyone? Grin

EnnisDelMar · 19/11/2010 14:32

Sorry, meant to be funny, I didn't realise you actually live there...

I meant that would be my idea of a moderately priced holiday iyswim.

Where did you end up booking?

KatyMac · 19/11/2010 15:05

Don't worry if you had ever spent a week in december in Nofolk you would see why we are going away Wink

Actually I am S/E & the cost of not working is greater than the cost of the holiday - I get 2 weeks a year off a week in august (caravan in Wales) & a week at Christmas (hence the price) somewhere hot as I have borderline SAD

This week always costs a fortune
