If it's available on-line, then when you ring up it's gone, you check on-line & it's now unavailable, then 6 hours later when you look it's available again: WHAT'S GOING ON?

Did you get your holiday?

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 18/11/2010 10:06

Could it be that someone else was "booking" just before/at the same time as you?

You know when you byy tickets for stuff and it says "these tickets are reserved for you for the next x minutes" - I presume that when someone gets this messsage then everyone else gets shown that it's not available?

Perhaps they'd done that and then during the day decided not to go for it so it's "available" again??

thenightsky · 18/11/2010 10:07

Perhaps someone booked the last place, but then cancelled again?

I have had that happen to me.

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 18/11/2010 10:09

aye - what thenightsky said it what I was trying to say Grin Blush

KatyMac · 18/11/2010 10:29

No - when I rang up today is was £600 more expensive

Which means I'd have to add £1800 to my tesco vouchers

So I need to look if I can get anywhere for £1800 (unlikely) before I book it

Oh God... booking hotels with tesco vouchers is a bleedin nightmare. NOW I know exactly why you are having trouble.

You ring up... they tell you there are vacancies.

You order your tesco vouchers

Vouchers come.

You ring hotel to book with vouchers.

Suddenly vacancy has disappeared the minute they hear you are paying with vouchers and not hard cash-money.

Bastards.

I ended up having to send my vouchers back to tesco for a refund.

It's so unfair

Yes heard nightmares about Tesco vouchers and hotel bookings even for this country, just like thenightsky.
