I saw a holiday last night
Rang up this morning & it was fully booked
Found another while on the phone; spoke to DH rang back & it was full

Can I cry now?

the advertisements are often leads to get you interested and researching further. It's bloody difficult to find a real bargain out there. If you do, book it quick!!

LoopyLoops · 17/11/2010 22:02

Where do you want to go and when? MAybe we can help you?

KatyMac · 17/11/2010 22:03

cosmos

Anywhere hot

But my holiday reappeared from no-where a few minutes ago - back being displayed

Try again then.

KatyMac · 17/11/2010 22:08

Getting DH up early to do breakfast so I can phone at 8

Fingers crossed it's still there

Stupid holiday company

Ah yes, the joys of Cosmos. Clubcard Points used to be so much better before they took away Individual Traveller.

KatyMac · 17/11/2010 22:18

Don't know what you mean but I will nod agreeingly....Wink

Bloody Cosmos

Fingers crossed for you KatyMac.

I've just traded a load of ours in for a Siblu holiday - hope I can book it now Confused

KatyMac · 17/11/2010 22:20

Fingers crossed for you too

It is so frustrating

We booked a French chateau with swimming pool for us and 12 friends on Clubcard Vouchers when they still used Individual Travellers (a self catering holiday company).
Now all you can do is go to Ireland s/c.

Soups · 21/11/2010 10:36

IwishIwasmoreorganised I don't think you'll have a problem with Siblu and club card vouchers. We've booked a couple of times and it's been very simple. The only thing to look out for when looking at the Siblu website is you'll be paying the full value and not the discounted online price.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 21/11/2010 20:11

Thanks Soups. I've ordered them and am just waiting for them to arrive.

SIblu won't let us pay for linen or towel hire with the vouchers, but we can do the full £380 for the caravan with them Grin

Katymac - any joy yet?

KatyMac · 22/11/2010 19:28

Fancy Siblu for next Aug (paid cash for my holiday in Dec Sad)

Not sure what we are going to do

But I have my Voucher/deals what ever they are; but when do I have to book by? is it 5th Dec or May like it says on them

OP posts:
IwishIwasmoreorganised · 22/11/2010 21:25

on 5th December, the Tesco vouchers will change in value.

They'll only be worth 3x their face value for deals instead of 4. Once you've traded them in, you have to use them within 6 months.

KatyMac · 22/11/2010 21:27

OK they are traded in I have the actual £1200

What the ??? to do with them though?

Would anyone like to book us a holiday (I hate booking holidays)?

OP posts:
brokenangel · 22/11/2010 22:54

Hand the job over to DH and give him the hassle?

Ponders · 22/11/2010 23:12

Individual Travellers made no money when they took the Clubcard vouchers Sad & the brand is deceased now anyway SadSad

Must point out though that although Tesco are cutting deals value from 4x to 3x, they are still generally worth 6x as much as Nectar from Sainsburys Hmm

Ponders · 22/11/2010 23:15

Haven't looked at prices but are \link{http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294967232+29\these} any good, Katymac? ( NEW!!! holiday apartments in Spain & Portugal)

Ponders · 22/11/2010 23:17

oh I don't think they are, you have to get specific vouchers & use them by the end of March. bum

Ponders · 22/11/2010 23:21

The value you can use per person with some goes down after 5th Dec - with Cosmos, from £400 to £300; with Virgin from £700 to £525. So you need to get booked before then. (But that doesn't apply to Siblu apparently. & you can change any unused ones back into points)

KatyMac · 23/11/2010 07:20

brokenangel, if he could steer a computer I would

DD however can search on-line & give me a short list; great idea
