Corfu or Zante

I am looking at booking a week away in August for me and my boyfriend.I want somewhere reasonably quiet but not like in the middle of a field. Corfu and Zante both seem nice and cheapish.

Where would you go for a nice holiday on these Islands? Anywhere else in Greece you would recommend? Ta!

I've not been to corfu, but I've been to zante and cyprus and can highly recommend them both, what exactly are you looking for in a holiday?

is it just you and your boyfriend, no kids? if so then i like zante, although this was a few years ago now. it had quite a good nightlife, not too rowdy, contrary to what the sunday papers say (you can get this in any resort that offers 18-30 type holidays).

Personally i found corfu louder and harder to escape the rowdiness if you did want a quieter night out.

another good place for a couple who enjoy a bit of a night life is Bodrum in Turkey! very cheap as well.

Just somewhere with some shops, restaurants and bars, not big clubbers, both have busy lives with uni and work so just want to chill for a week.

Looking at Kalamaki or Tsilvi in Zante or maybe Roda in Corfu...

tsilivi sounds like it would be the best bet, the only 18-30 holidays seem to be in Laganas. The beaches in Zante were fabulous and food was fantastic. let us know on what you decide x

Will you be taking a child with you? If yes then Tsilivi is great. Search the archives for more info. There have been several threads on this in the past.
