Have you stayed at Mango Bay Hotel Barbados? If so would love to hear your opinion of it especially if you had children with you. Considering travelling there with a 6yr, 5yr and 22mth old. I know there are no childrens clubs there and that is not a problem to us. Thanks

Might be a problem to other guests. Depends if you have a thick skin. Other all inclusive resorts in Barbados do the family thing better, when they provide early dinners, kids clubs, child friendly activities etc. The reason some resorts don't do kids clubs is because they would rather not have a resort full of families. The resorts won't mind, but other guests will and this is a resort, who likes it's repeater clients. Child rates are high too most of the year at Mango Bay ... for a reason! Room occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children (includes infants). So if you are going with another adult, you won't get into one room.

So to sum up, don't go with young children/babies to Mango Bay, you will ruin the holidays of everyone else, (sorry but true). It's not cheap, it's and expensive resort. For some once in a lifetime, honeymoon or wedding. Try Turtle beach, Crystal Cove or one of the Almond Family resorts until the kids are about 12 years old, then go.

I can definitely recommend Turtle Beach!

Also recommending Turtle Beach. Have just booked for August next year. Were there this August. Will be our 4th visit. Also Crystal Cove is great too - have stayed there a couple of times too.
