I'm going to be in Basel (Switzerland) next week, and DH will be working two of the days, while I entertain DS (3) and DD (1). Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do and where to stay? I'm thinking a trip to the zoo, but not sure what else. We'd also like to stay somewhere further afield for the weekend and I'm not sure where to start my search - I'm thinking within an hour of Basel, but towards mountains or a lake. It's a long shot, but any advice would be appreciated!
