Having never ever stayed in a villa and practically never in a hotel other than on the way to a campsite I'm a bit clueless. We are looking to go to sicily next summer without our tent. I want to go to Etna and peer at lava.
So how do I find a decent place at a reasonable cost? I don't want to end up on a holiday watchdog programme afterwards!
