Do you know any good play areas/parks in Bath?

I am meeting a friend tomorrow in Bath and she has suggested going to Victoria Park...all you South West Mumsnetters out there...is this a good place for children aged 2 - 6 yrs old to play?
if not, can you suggest any alternative venues?
