Siblu holidays - any thoughts?

We're considering doing a Siblu holiday next April (to use up our Tesco vouchers while they're still 4x the face value)

The site that I like the look of is La Reserve in Aquitaine.

Has anybody been there, or to any of the other parcs? How did you find it? Do you have any suggestions or tips?

Thanks.

We went to Lac Des Reves. I was quite impressed - the level of service was very high, helpful people in reception, great Kids Club, friendly staff in the restaurant and takeaway, and everything was spotlessly clean. I would go back.

you might find a review on ukcampsites.co.uk

try and gauge how big the pitch sizes are as we've found that makes a big difference. some of the companies have reviews on their websites - think its canvas

Thanks - will try to find the reviews.

If you go to the "Reviews" section on here, you should find some comments too. Or look it up in Advanced Search.

I've been to Le Bois Dormant, which was smaller, quiet and great when the ds's were younger (5 and 2). Last year we went to Les Charmettes, which was bigger and busier, but better suited to the boys at 7 and 4.

Wouldn't hesitate to go to a Siblu site again, and am contemplating going back to Les Charmettes next year.

You might find not all the facilities are available in April though. Even if you change up your points now, the deals tokens are still valid for 6 months - that's 6 months to book during, not necessarily to take the holiday in!

We went to La Reserve this year and stayed in one of their vans. It was the end of August so everything was in full swing when we arrived and much quieter towards the end. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, pool area very nice, everything clean and well looked after. Based on my experience with them I'd go back to a Siblu site.

The park itself isn't really near a town, so if you do want to do none Siblu things it's a bit of a trek. The beaches were around 30 + mins away. It is worth exploring a bit tho, La Pyla a bit further north on the coast was certainly dramatic. We didn't expect a sand dune to be that big!

La Reserve was a great site, very clean with great pools and the use of the lake which for older kids was just fab and for younger ones it had no tide so they were quite safe. Plenty to occupy them from wind surfing to paragliding or just playing about on a dinghy.

Entertainment on site was on every evening in July/August.

The site was incredibly clean and the staff very helpful. The site was about 20 minute drive from supermarket. Shop on site was very good if you needed it and although slightly more expensive not silly prices. Plenty of fresh meat and Veg.

Plenty to do around and about- lovely small towns and markets to visit as well as beautiful beaches about 30 minutes away. Great place to visit!

It's all sounding good - thanks.
