Toronto and Car Seats

Hi there

I'll be travelling to Toronto on my own with my 22 month old son and will need to get from the airport to downtown by taxi / limo.

Is there someone out there who knows the rules of Ontario with respect to children's car seats and taxis / limos?

Ideally can someone recommend me a limo service I can book in advance with a car seat installed? Alternatively could I have him on my lap (not ideal of course!).

Any advice appreciated.

There are set rules re car restraints; he cannot sit on your lap for the duration of the journey.

I use to work for a limo company and we supplied the seats but our jobs were booked in advance so we knew what we had to prepare. You may just have to wait a lil extra so www.torontoairportlimo-taxi.ca can get the seats from their depot first.
