Help me choose a holiday PLssss

i am looking for a holiday from 27th/28th May 2011 for one week. there will be three of us, me, dh and ds (7). i am really struggling to find somewhere because i don't know where to go!!!!

we have been to corfu, porto rico in gran canaria, albuferia in portugal, palma nova and santa ponsa in majorca as a family and i really want to go somewhere different, we did love palma nova and this is where we will end up if i can't find anything else.

i want a beach resort with an assortment of shops and resturants and a little nightlift but somewhere that is not huge, ie salou, benidorm. I also want somewhere that is very warm.

i also dont want to fly for more than about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

i had thought about france, portugal, spainish mainland, particulary france.

can anyone recommend anywhere

budget isnt great - about £1500 for the three of us

I would probably go to cyprus at that time of year for guaranteed heat.

Pernera bay, just outside protaras is nice.

Greece shoud be pretty hot then too but I would stick to the southerly islands such as crete or rhodes. We went to corfu the first week in june a few years ago and it was cloudy and raining most of the week.

Menorca is lovely but again I would be wary of the weather if the heat is important to you.

Personally i'm not a lover of france or mainland spain. We went to the Vendee in France in August last year and I was pretty bored tbh. The weather was very similar to England too.
