car seats in a clio

Hi there, just a quickie - I'm trying to sort out car hire for a trip to Spain but have no idea which car to get.

So, does anyone know if you can fit 3 booster seats and 2 suitcases in the back of a Renault Clio? Or would a Focus be better? Or any other suggestions for a small (and therefore cheap to hire) car?

2 suitcases no problem but 3 boosters would be, the middle space is too narrow and would cover the seatbelt sockets so you'll get buckle crunch.

thanks - think i'm gonna have to bite the bullet and pay out for a bigger car.
