Can you recommend wet-weather activities for a 2 year old, and/or older DCs?

Is the pool in Bala worth a visit? Soft play anywhere?

Thanks!

we've holidayed near there before, there's some underground caves with a craft centre that's quite good, King Arthur's Caves or something like that - worth booking in advance though

There's also a little mini railway line and museum at Crich where you can take a little ride on the train, not expensive IIRC

Thank you, will search for King Arthur's caves and the railway line at Crich.

I went to the pool in Bala a few years ago & it was good then for littlies/range of ages. There is also the Bala Lake Railway which is a narrow gauge train ride alongside Bala Lake!

Thanks badgerhead. Bala sounds like it's worth a visit.

MadreInglese, I can't find a Crich in that area - where is it?

hang on, I'll have a google, I've probably spelt it wrong!

MadreInglese · 26/10/2010 13:41

sorry, Crich is a tram museum we've been to in Derbyshire! Confused

the railway I meant is in Corris

fatsatsuma · 26/10/2010 13:42

Thank you MI! Will google Corris.

Found it. It looks fun but doesn't seem to be open this week sadly.
