tenerife - temperature in July - 20's?? really?

Hi

I've looked online and apparently Tenerife is only in the 20's in July - is this accurate or can a 'tenerife' experienced traveller tell me that it will be hotter than this? DH is refusing to go as it;s not hot enough (he likes mid 30's!)

It will be hot, but perhaps not mid 30's. Tenerife tends to have a better all year climate. It will def be late 20's early 30's though, and feel hotter
