Have a look at ABC magazine - lots of places advertise with them. The swanky new library does story telling sessions for pre-schoolers but I can't remember what day they're on. If you're anywhere around the Hanover area a lot of groups use the Hanover Centre (on Southover Street), and there is place that runs kids art sessions at the top of Islingwood Street (sorry for being a bit vague). If you're a total masochist you could always try tubmletots

Sorry, meant tumbletots

What about the classes at Brighton Gymnastic club in hove? It's behind Toys r us.

sunnydelight · 16/09/2005 14:42

My over-riding memory of the gym club at Hove is the smell of feet!!!

desperatehousewife · 16/09/2005 17:34

oh god, i've booked him in for a taster session for the gym and for tumbletots....aaargh!

Some people obviously love tumbletots, it's been around a long time. I'm just not that good on organised group activities anyway

I take mine to the swimming pool at the King Alfred. Isn't that supposed to be closing down soon?

ABC magazine always has loads of stuff about toddler music (eg Fiddlesticks). They also do lots of activities (including music) at the Brighthelm Centre in town. They have leaflets about all the different groups in their foyer.

My dd went to tumbletots for three years DHW, its a good thing to do pre-school as it teaches them (them? the children!) to wait their turn etc as well as singing and physical activities!
