Ideally we'd like coastal france, spain or italy.

we went to le brasilia in france this year and it was brilliant- really marvellous pool for toddlers and nice 'show' (chaotic dancing really but they loved it) for them every night.

We would like to go somewhere new though - any suggestions? thanks

Ca'Savio on the Lido, my 2.5 year old loved it!

Union Lido, also Italy, is fab too.

I am pretty sure Ca,Savio does, there is certainly a very shallow pool area for littlies. Also, the sea is very shallow, calm and warm.

I looked at Union Lido and I am pretty sure they do too. If you check out the gallery on the Thomson Alfresco site it really looks as if the pool is walk in with also very small slides for toddlers to get in.

It really is a lovely area for small children. Aqualand is brill, the towns nearby have lovely restaurants and ice cream bars etc, there is a pirate ship that picks up along the coast, you can go to Venice!

Union Lido have 2 pool complexes with soft bottom lagoons. Not deep. Oh and soft sides you can slide down. My dd was 2.5 when we went - she loved it.

Also this year, we went to Parc Albatros in Tuscany. Dd is a bit bigger now, but the pool complexes are FAB for little ones. Made from soft "rubber" and about 30-40cm deep. There were lots of families with small babies and toddlers. Eurocamp/Canvas both do mobiles and tents there.
