How much do you think this will affect your travel plans?

We are meant to be going on Friday night, but we will need to refuel at some point on our journey down. i am now a little worried we are going to be stuck on a go-slow autoroute and then run out of petrol...that is, if the ferries can get enough fuel to get us across the water!

We live in France, and I am afraid I can't reassure you. Our local town is completely out of fuel, no idea how long it will last.

There is a big vote in parlement on Wednesday so hopefully it will clear after that. I certainly hope so as we are due to go away on Saturday as well.

DS1 and I are going to Paris on Sunday. We have made an in principle decision that we go (if the flight isn't cancelled of course), and take our chances.

We're on holiday in Provence (near Nimes) and we got fuel easily this afternoon although busy supermarket fuel stations did have queues. Marseille is full of rubbish (and stank when we were there) and we saw about 50 protesters in Avignon today. Other than that, we're just hoping our flight home is okay on Saturday but down here they're running 70% of flights.
