Lunch with kids near Orleans House, Twickenham

We're going to an afternoon wedding next Saturday in Orleans House, Twickenham, and want to have lunch nearby first, preferably somewhere within walking distance. Kids are 5 and 1. Can anyone suggest somewhere decent, kid-friendly and reasonably priced. (Actually, I'm willing to compromise on decent as long as there's pizza / fishfingers and chips / something else that DS1 will definitely eat, at a sensible speed and without argument...)

The café in Marble Hill Park is really nice (not the one by the playground which is hot dogs and ice creams, but the one in the main bit of the park). The menu is child-friendly and it's actually all pretty nice food.

If you don't fancy that, Richmond has tons of child-friendly restaurants - Wagamama, Pizza Express, GBK, Carluccio's etc and there are masses of buses to Twickenham. You could be out of the restaurant and on a bus in less than five minutes and getting off in another five.

Crown Road in St Margarets also has a few cafés but I don't know them well any more so can't recommend anything specifically.

The Crown pub is a couple of mins walk from there. Has pretty standard pub fare. Child friendly and great garden with kids play area so you can even hope to enjoy your meal in peace!
