Thinking of going to Portugal

Not heard much about it and am a little hesitant to go for 2 weeks if the kids won't enjoy it. They will be 6 and 4 when we go.

DP really fancies it, I would prefer to go to Spain tbh as I always feel safe in Spain (sanitation etc).

Anyone been to Portugal, I think the resort is near Albufeira.

I live in Albufeira and can guarantee you it is very sanitary here too, lovely weather and lots to do for kids - you are all sure to love it!!! :-)

It's lovely crazydazy. If you're confident about driving on the contintent, it's well worth hiring a car as well - there are so many beautiful places on the Algarve and they're all reasonably close together, but it's hard to get around if you haven't got a car. So worth hiring one.

Thanks for that Nickinha, am always a little dubious of going abroad as have had so much bad luck when it comes to holidays. Like to know the kids are safe!!!

Will tell DP to book it then, whilst we still can!!!

Caligula - think we will hire a car as Grandparents are coming with us so we can spread the cost!!!!
