Where to go in Jan at 26 weeks pregnant?

I have a week annual leave booked around DH's birthday at the end of Jan. We often go away for each other's birthdays, but this year I will be 26weeks pregnant with our first child so it would be our last childfree holiday. Any suggestions where to go? I'm thinking UK or Europe but don't want to go anywhere too cold because I don't like too much cold and probably won't be able to do up my winter coat by then. We usually like sightseeing city break type holidays. In the past few years we have been to Paris, Rome, London a couple of times, Disneyland Paris, Bath, Edinburgh. The other option is that we just go away for a weekend and I give the week's annual leave back so I can work a day less for the last 4 weeks before maternity leave.

How about Palma or Valencia (not sure where you're flying from but Easyjet & Ryanair both go to Valencia I think and loads go to Palma).

Both should be sunnyish by then - we've been to both at new year and had 22/23 degrees. Having said that I was in Palma at the end of Jan a few years ago when it snowed....but I think that was v unusual! Either way it should be a nice temperature and warm when you're sitting in the sun, would need a cardigan or something for when it cools down but not full-on winter coat stuff.

Both are fairly short flights from the UK and both are close to the airport. I also like the fact that there's stuff to see/do but not loads so you won't feel obliged to do a full-on tourist trail.

Think my favourite would be Palma, nice old town, beautiful cathedral, lovely bars and restaurants, nice seafront to walk along if you feel like a stroll, good open-top buss tours if you feel like a rest!

Venice? It will be cold, but more or less the same temp as Uk. Romantic and undoable once you have a baby (lots of stairs when baby, lots of canals when toddler) or
Barcelona for a weekend.
Berlin (too cold maybe)
Amsterdam (windy but lovely)
Capri pure magic

Thanks for your suggestions. I had considered Amsterdam as we had thought about going there for my birthday last year, but the internets says it is very cold there in January. Today I had a sudden thought about Barcelona, which is apparently rarely less than 10 degrees and somewhere I would like to go. Will suggest it to DH as it is his birthday so I need to convince him we are going where he wants to go!
